I got started to Blog ,through the encouragement of my youngest daughter.She lives in another province. So it's nice to connect in that manner with her and the rest of family and friends.
Nice work Joyce on the slide show of Canada Day at the Mennonite Village. You never seem to tire of the place. I remember the sod house and the windwill when I was there with you. It seems like you are very much at home there. My sister Toosje will be in Winnipeg the second weekend that Robin and Aaron and the family will be in Nova Scotia. She will be attending a conference for the Catholic Women's League. If you would be interested in seeing her, you would need to take a trip into Winnipeg as she doesn't have any means to get out to you. Perhaps you can give her a call to find out the best time to connect. That is the weekend of Aug. 8 to 10th. I'm expecting a young couple from Holland this weekend so we'll probably be showing them around town and they want to join our meetings, so I am looking forward to their visit. I met them for the first time when I was in Holland in February.
